SENIOR PASTOR - Dr. Stan Schilffarth

Pastor Stan is a native of Northern Kentucky, and has been on staff here at First Church since August 2007.  His passion for ministry is seen in his preaching and his devotion to pastoral care. Stan's formal pastoral training began at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, and he went on to earn his Doctor of Ministry degree in the 1990's at Emory University's Candler School of Theology.  His wife is a pre-school educator by profession, and they have one teenage son here in Kittanning, one daughter in undergratuate college study, and two twenty-something married children who both reside with their spouses in Lexington, Kentucky.

 

 

 

 

 

YOUTH PASTOR - Luke Price

Pastor Luke Price is a native of Bedford, Indiana and joined the staff of the First Church of God as Youth Pastor in August 2010.  He graduated from Anderson University in 2008 with a degree in Christian Ministries.  Luke grew up at the Southern Indiana Church of God youth camp called 'Camp Challenge', where he learned many difficulties and blessings that the ministry brings.  He is dedicated to a relational ministry style that involves building a ministry around building relationships with each other and leading by example in his own life.  God has blessed him with an beautiful wife, Kayla, to whom he has been married since June 2010. God has already blessed them with several challenges through their short time together but those challenges have lead to a stronger relationship with God and each other.

 

 

 

WORSHIP ARTS DIRECTOR - Brian Querry

Brian Querry has been on staff as Worship Arts Director since August, 2007. He oversees and coordinates all music and worship ministries and activities, including audio and video, and leads worship at each worship service. Brian teaches middle school music and owns his own media production company. He previously served as choir director, soloist, and accompanist at the First Church of God in North Apollo, PA and as accompanist at the Apollo Free Methodist Church. Brian resides in North Apollo, PA, with his wife, Jean, and their two children, Victoria and Tyler.
